The Out of House team will be out in force at the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP) conference at Aston University this month. This annual event gives Out of House staff an opportunity to network with the freelance editorial suppliers who are so vital to our publishing operation.
The conference gives copy-editors and proofreaders the chance to develop professional knowledge, find out about developments in the publishing industry and network with colleagues.
As well as exhibiting at the conference, Out of House will host a panel session to discuss how editorial freelancers can better support education publishers. Managing Director Jo Bottrill commented “Supporting publishers of education content with their unique production challenges is an important focus here at Out of House Publishing, we hope this session will develop into a lively and informative discussion about what more the community of freelance editors and proofreaders can do in this area.”
Out of House staff will be available in the exhibition space at Aston University throughout the conference which runs from Saturday 10th September to Monday 12th September. You can find out more about the SfEP, including access to training and other events at www.sfep.org.uk.
