2017 is going to be a busy year for publishing events and it all kicks off in January. This week we have Digital Book World in New York. Next week is Academic Book Week in the UK. There are events taking place up and down the country and lots of publishers are discounting their titles. There’s an interesting event on innovation in publishing at the British Library on Wednesday. Again you can keep up with the latest by following #AcBookWeek on Twitter or at www.acbookweek.com.
In education publishing we have the Bett Show at London’s ExCeL centre. With the strapline “Discover the Future of Learning”, this meeting of teachers, technology boffins and content types offers a fascinating insight into the role of technology in education.
